 Laser technology in the shoe and leather industry


Any parts of a shoe can be laser-treated: from cutting of uppers, to decoration of soles or heels, to the functional treatment of internal parts. An example of such workings concerns the preparation of insoles and carding.


Workings used up till now for an aesthetic purpose in the footwear market are evolving towards the possibility to also implement production processes that differ from the traditional ones and offer additional advantages, in particular repeatability and accuracy.


Another aspect not to be underestimated is the possibility that our systems give to carry out decorations starting from the 3D original file and to work on three-dimensional surfaces such as clogs, soles and heels.
